Udupi: Hijab row can be resolved by Hindu organisations in no time - Yashpal Suvarna

Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (HB/MS)

Udupi, Feb 3: Commenting on the Hijab issue that is prevailing in the government women’s college in the city, BJP leader and vice president of college administrative committee Yashpal Suvarna said, “We can stop this through Hindu organizations within five minutes.”

Suvarna further said, “This is the future of girl students. This matter is being instigated by CFI and PFI. Six Muslim girl students are doing the work of keeping the future of 900 students in dark. We have to make decisions keeping the future of other students in mind.

“We know that they are creating chaos to challenge us. We know how to answer them through Hindu organizations. I have to speak here only as a representative of the administrative committee of the college. Otherwise I have to speak as a member of Hindu organization.

“So far we have not put any writ petition in court. If there is any lacuna in education system, we can rectify it. However, with regard to this Hijab issue which is being promoted intentionally, we will not make any concession.

“Students should respect male teachers like their own parent as he is a teacher. Thinking that he is an unknown male is not right. The MLA and college administrative committee has requested with the parents of six girls several times. We also gave them option of online education. But still the students are challenging us,” he said.

Hijabs look descent. Even for other girls, Kesri is too good. Each one should be allowed what they like to wear in school. We should respect each individual and their faith. In India, we are so much bothered about what others should DO or not DO. Why we are bothered so much about Uniforms in the classrooms and NOT the quality of teaching and ....? Those who oppose Hiajbs should go in the same spirit against SIKHS who were headgear and many more with their own faiths.

How come this issue of Hijab has come up in the middle of the term...!!!!????? Best solution for these girls is to opt for a college which is allowing Hijab. Taking TC is not difficult.

As we permit Sikhs to wear turban in the army and all armed and police forces, be cool and allow hijab, shawls and duppattas. Matter is as simple as this. For uniformity a matching colour as that of uniform can be specified.

Yaspal Suvarna, dreaming is one thing but reality is different. Did you complete University qualification by attending formal classes under the Registered Educational Institutions. Do not threaten. Only solution is all the fringe groups should be away from this issue. Only the educated, old students, who have passed from the same College can solve the problem much better than politicians because old students have knows the culture of this College.

Sir Those few children are our children ...we need to counsel them and cajole them ,further more you too need some advice like this...my advice to the students go to college ..with the prescribed uniform....you have a long future ahead...the people who are supporting and pushing you will no longer be there after a few days..Jai Hind.

This kind of people are a curse to the society. This is an issue that has to be handled delicately. The only way forward in this case is dialogue and rational thinking.; one upmanship and belligerence will only make things worse. Already, as citizens of this country, we are bearing the brunt of the misadventure of a few senseless people. If we talk in terms Hindu and Muslim organisations then one day, as said in the movie PK, we will be left with only sandals.

Day by day the problem started to spread other Colleges. My opinon is Better to stop wearing different colored shawls, Peta inside the Parliament house and in different state Assembly house. Immediately Government will bring a common law for the country. This can control in one minute not five minutes. That what I think.

Only one agenda, create animosity among people of diffrent relegion and make a bank out of it. This will not stop with religion, they will soon divide based on caste when it suits them. Those who think these hindu goons are looking after one religions interest are living in fool's paradise.

Dear Yashapl, You need to agree that Hijab raw is because of hindus only. You cant drag CFI or PFI into this. If hindus open their heart and accept hijab then nothing to worry. You should teach this to hindu students who oppos hijab and wear saffron shwal to oppos hijab. Shame on you.

Even khattar Islamic country getting away with all these old age rules according to modern times requirements, our Indian Muslim brothers are still under spell of mullahs unethical rules and competing to forcefull implementation of these. Wherever uniform systems exists, there shouldn't be other dresses.

Wat he is doing is threatening the students. Obviously one cant expect the police to take any action on him. Thats his priveledge of being a majority in power. Reality is there is a section of society who cant tolerate muslim women studying or muslim business flourishing. Just few months ago, there was sudarshan news putting shows titled UPSC jihad just bcoz few muslim students worked hard and became ias officers. This is the level of hatred in some
