Mangaluru Feb 4: The annual general meeting of the World Bunts' Foundation Trust was held at Hotel Moti Mahal on Friday, February 4.

On the occasion, the Kothwal Gutthu Mechu Shedty Endowment award was given to Abhishek N Shetty and Vinith M Shetty and Kothwal Nadumane Rathna Shedtry endowment award was to Samarth Shetty. Late Dr D K Chowta Endowment award was presented to Yakshagana artiste Subbayya Shetty.

During the annual meeting, member of Karnataka Media Academy Baala Jaganath Shetty, managing director and CEO of Union Bank Rajkiran Rai, Winner of A P  J
Abdul Kalam national award for literature and journalism Dr Malathi Shetty Manoor were felicitated.

After receiving the felicitation, Union Bank MD and CEO Rajkiran Rai said, "I thank the World Bunts' Foundation Trust for the felicitation. Each and everyone will have a dream and they try to achieve it to be successful. A community’s success depends on the unity of its members. World Bunt’s Foundation Trust needs to take measures to encourage more and more youngsters to step into the banking sector."

Chairman Dr A J Shetty welcomed the gathering, Secretary C A Sudhir Kumar Shetty proposed a vote of thanks and Kallige Tharanath Shetty compered the event.Vice chairman Kushal S Hegde, K S Hegde, project director Dr B Sanjeev Rai, Ikala Harish Shetty, Sadananda Shetty and others were present.
