Kasargod: Patient killed as ambulance rams into KSRTC bus

Kasargod, Feb 12: In an unfortunate incident, a 50-year-old patient died after an ambulance and a KSRTC bus collided at TB Road junction in Kanhangad on Saturday February 12.

The deceased is identified as Saibaba, a postman at Permude post office.

As he was suffering from a breathing problem, he was admitted to a private hospital in Kumble. Doctors had advised him to be shifted to Pariyaram Medical College. The incident took place while the patient was being shifted to Pariyaram Medical College in an ambulance.

Though Saibaba was rushed to the district hospital after the accident, he could not be saved.

Keshava who was along with him was injured in the incident. He is admitted to hospital.

Hosadurga police registered a case.
