Kundapur, Feb 16: The Brahmarathotsava festival was celebrated as part of temples Dhwaja Prathistapane and Brahmakalashothsava at Koteshwar’s Kotilingeswhara temple, one of the seven pilgrimage temples of the coast here on Wednesday, February 16.

The pre-rites of the chariot began in the morning. Later, the temple priests set in motion the chariot festival.

The festival was celebrated to the chants of religious slogans by thousands of devotees after the Shatarudrabhisheka and other rituals.
