KUWAIT, Feb 2(Kuwait Times): Kuwait's hospitals are equipped with the most advanced medical tools in the world, said Dr Rashed Al-Rshoud, Assistant Undersecretary for Medical Affairs at the Ministry of Health. He was speaking while representing Health Minister Hilal Al-Sayer. The inauguration of Kuwait Second Exhibition Conference for Laboratory Technologies was organized by Promedia International Company yesterday at Radisson Blu hotel.
Al-Rshoud pointed out that the conference is being held during the month of celebrations. This event highlights the position participants, who are expected to participate in the international exhibition at Mishref Fair Ground.
He added that this exhibition offers local and international companies to present the latest equipment. It is a chance to meet manufacturers, service presenters and public institutions along with private companies and universities. This would help strengthen long investment relationships. Visitors of this growing market especially in developing countries are looking forward to enter technologically advanced countries.
On the other hand, Jamal Omran Marketing and Media Manager at Promedia international said that the importance of the medical laboratories industry in our daily lives led to the organization of such an event. He applauded the role played by Hilal Al-Sayer, Health Minister to support the efforts of local private companies who organize scientific forums that help develop medical laboratories.
He pointed out that Promedia does not necessarily look forward toward amassing financial profits but develops the objective conferences industry. They believe that this industry serves as the cultural image of countries that aim toward scientific growth, and follow the technical advancement.
He added that this Second Conference Exhibition is indicative of the first one's success in introducing laboratory technologies to visitors.
