Mangalore: Tanisha Rego Breathes Her Last

Mangalore, Feb 2: Six-year-old Tanisha Rego, daughter of well-known compere and community leader Leslie Rego and Blossom Rego, sister of Belisha and Nihal, passed away around noon today, ie wednesday February 2, after battling for life in Father Muller Hospital here.
Tanisha, a first grade student of St Agnes Primary School, Bendore was admitted to the hospital on Monday January 31, owing to suspected brain fever. The doctors had said that her condition was very critical, and had given very little hopes.
Tanisha’s parents and family members had requested special prayers from well-wishers around the globe, and the people had responded to the plea in large numbers.
Leslie Rego, proprietor of `The Mat Shop', has been closely associated with Daijiworld and is considered a close family member.
Funeral cortege leaves residence Fatima Cottage, Behind Bharat Beedis, Kadri Road on Thursday, February 3, at 3:45 pm to St Sebastian's Church Bendore followed by Mass at 5:00 pm. Public homage is between 4:30 pm and 5:00 pm.
