Mangaluru, Apr 12: “I have no news of the suicide of contractor who has accused Eshwarappa of illegal commission,” said Minister Dr Ashwath Narayana here on Tuesday, April 12.

“The department concerned will issue clarification after obtaining the details. I do not know if there was a death note. I also do not know the cause of suicide. We cannot conclude on the connection to the allegation. There is nothing to hide. Let us wait till the details come out.”

“The opposition party usually protests. But there will be investigations to know the truth. Our government is completely against corruption and committed to a corruption free society. Aadhar and PAN cards are being seeded for transparency. We are trying for transparency in financial transactions. Work in that direction will be completed in a few days. We should have a value based society. Good society cannot have corruption,” he said.
