Udupi: Manipal student killed, another injured after two-wheeler hits divider

Udupi, June 16: A man died on the spot after the two-wheeler he was riding hit a divider in Manipal also injuring the pillion rider on June 15 late night.

The deceased is identified as Hinduja (27), a student from Manipal and the injured pillion rider is his friend Varshini.

The accident occured when the duo was on its way from Tiger Circle to Syndicate circle in Manipal. 

Hinduja was riding the vehicle at a high speed and lost control before hitting the divider, it is said. 

 

Hinduja succumbed to severe head injury and his friend survived with minor injuries, it is said. 

Hinduja was basically from Nellore in Andhra Pradesh and pursuing his education in Public Health Science at Manipal.

A case been registered in Manipal police station.
