It's time we realize that rather than donating any money to the temples we help the poor and helpless children for food and education. Unfortunately, we get more attracted when a temple looks beautiful and is decked with gold and silver and virtually start believing that God lives there. So unfortunate! When Ghazni raided Somnath 17 times and carried all the wealth, even the God did not defend.
