Udupi, Jul 20: Thieves stole gold jewellery and other goods worth Rs 25 lac from a house in the city.

The house where the incident took place is owned by Rukmini Krishna on the road behind Udupi court. Vani V Rao stays in the house.

Thieves entered the house between 10.45 am and 2.10 pm on Tuesday July 19. They entered the bedroom and stole Rs 45,000 cash, gold bracelet, bangles chains, pair of earrings, necklace, gold coin, and sarees from the house.

The total value of the valuables stolen was Rs 25 lac. A case in this connection is registered at Udupi city police station.
