Bengaluru, Aug 13: Karnataka on Saturday, August 13, reported 1,329 new coronavirus cases.
As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stand at 10,105. Bengaluru urban's single-day tally is 791.
Five deaths were reported due to coronavirus in the state on Saturday. The death toll in the state has risen to 40,144.
The state recorded 1,614 discharges from hospitals on Saturday, taking the total discharges to 39,79,155.
So far, Karnataka has seen 40,29,446 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
The positivity rate for the day stands at 6.07%. As many as 11,73,30,330 people have received vaccination so far.
