“Leadership is the art of getting people do the work you want done, because they like to do it.”
Our era signals the beginning of one of the toughest tasks ever faced by the human race. Truly ‘Leadership’ with all its pros and cons.
Leadership today is the way you deal with people, your subordinates, colleagues and every one in general. At one time, leadership was muscle power and dictatorship. These were prevalent when heavy duty armour with its ground assault grandeur reigned supreme. Days of Hitler, Shivaji, Akbar, and Churchill remind us of the varied diversity of dealing as a leader.
Today the horizons have changed and opinions differ. You cannot gain support of people by bossing over them. You have to convince and win them to your way of thinking, ever so lovingly, ever so kindly.
We as a nation have witnessed numerous leaders come and go by. We were secretly, delighted by some great leaders whereas others were good for nothing.
Well then what have we done? Have we raised our voice? Have we stormed things to get in true change? Well we have failed all over.
HOW CAN PRODUCTIVITY INCREASE WITH OUR LACKLUSTRE SPIRIT
Some time we wonder if our country can ever bloom in all its beauty.
The time has come, when we need authentic leaders to run the nation and serve the people. We need those kind of leaders whose promise means deliverence, whose assurance means a good night sleep, whose wrath undoes the wicked, whose might upholds the weak and whose blade defends the helpless.
Now the question arises, Where can we find such people? Or is it an illusion?
Of course it is not an illusion even luck by chance, because history is witness to this. The capacity lies in the power driven youth of today who sense anything is possible in this world of extreme. We as citizens have to push our interested youth ahead to lead from the front, in the meanwhile also be their backbone.
Definitely we will have stumbling blocks, opposition and unacceptance majorly critics. But if we need a better tomorrow then it can only be the youth of India to set the spark and get a new fire burning.
This is not a task that can be accomplished with ease but we have to get started and make slow and steady progress, promising less delivering more.
Everyone who is reading this article lets be inspired with renewed dedication to change and give a facelift to our country riding high on corrupt sectors. Focusing on things other than your zone of core competence is the name of the game.
Let us be poised and be the change we need rather than criticize 24 x 7.
This truly comes in at a time when an impatient country awaits its hopefully serene future in bliss and tranquility. So go ahead confidently & lead throughout..
