She – Prologue

A happy, young and carefree soul
no one to judge her, no one to scold
She was calm and peaceful, blissful and bold
Those days were old but still remain gold

As she grew up, it was challenging
She couldn’t focus on her daily happenings
No one knew the sadness behind all the smiling
Innocent, she was, but couldn’t help struggling

She went to what they called ‘ home ’
There also, she shivered being all alone
In the presence of family, she had no soul
To share her happiness and sadness not shown

However, in the midst of the suppression, she fell and got up
When there was depression, she went back and caught up
Surrounded by constant aggression, she lay down her tranquility and sat up
She had enough

She was a fighter
She made life brighter
Even though her burdens made her personality tighter
She was the lighter of all those nobodies who persecuted her

Their jealousy didn’t stop her
The burns, it didn’t kill her
The cold didn’t freeze her
She was bulletproof, everyone would shoot her but no one could push her down

She loves those who love her
She doesn’t care about people who hate her
She will never pity those who underestimate her
If they want silver, it doesn’t bother her

Life is bad, life is good
Life is yours, it can be beautiful
Life is a breath taking journey in the dark woods

Life is something that you can never get back
I bet you know that
So live it well while it lasts

She’s learnt it
She’s felt it
She’s lived it

She’s smiled through it
She’s cried through it
She’s healed through it
And most of all, she’s got through it
She’s got through it all
