You are Worthy

You are Worthy

Even if your skin is not flawless
Even if your stomach is not flat
Even if you do not fit into that little black dress
Even if you do not get a promotion
Even if you do not earn a six-figure salary
Even if you are not able to cook a meal
Even if you fail miserably at driving a vehicle
Even if you are not able to find the right partner
Even if there is none to call you a mom
Even if the weight on the scale keeps rising
Even if that little hair on your head is falling
Even if you do not have a house of your own
Even if all your business ideas are failing
Even if the balance in your bank account is steadily falling
Even if you find no friends to call your own
Even if people do not turn to look at you when you enter
Even if people do not turn to bid adieu when you walk out
Even if you have 200 followers on Instagram
Even if all your posts garner only ten likes.
Even if you do innumerable mistakes.
You are still worthy
Your worth is defined by the one who created you.
You will always remain worthy.

Beautiful write up. I can relate so we'll to this, there have been times I have felt dejected because I could not drive or did not end up in a good career path. Reading this helped me remember that my worth would never be ignored by God. Thank you sonal. Whenever I see your write ups I do make it a point to read. Has calm you look in the picture so are your thoughts in the write ups. Very simple, no complications but very relatable. Keep going gal.

Hi Sonal. I have been a silent reader of all your articles and must say you are an amazing writer. I am an ardent reader and do read books and other write-ups constantly, but there is something special about your writing. You articulate in the most simplest of languages and highlight subtly about the issues. I really like how boldly you speak about your weakness and issues which is very rare for a writer. Kudos to you. Do venture out to write a book, I am sure many will be interested to read. This article in particular is beautiful, most of us think we are not good enough if we aren't able to drive or get a dream job but like you said one's being worthy is decided by God and he finds worth in everything. So beautifully said. Hats off to your family members and friends who have encouraged you and motivated you to write. Please continue writing.
