Have You

October 5, 2022

Have You
Have you taken time to think and look around once in a while
Have you taken time to hear the rhythm of your heartbeat and thank God for the gift of life
Have you taken time to look in the mirror and feel proud of how uniquely you are created
Have you taken time to relax and breathe easy once in a while?

Have you taken the time to get up early and smile at the rising sun
Have you glanced at the night sky and watched the shining stars?
Have you felt the morning breeze and evening chill
Have you taken the time to realize that each day is beautiful and special in its own way?

Have you taken the time to walk around and see the beauty of nature
Have you heard the birds chirping and the noise of children playing
Have you taken time to water the thirsty plants and smell the wet soil
Have you felt the tickle of water on your hands
And the sprinkling rain on head

Have you taken the time to wish your neighbour and share a bright smile with a stranger standing by
Have you taken the time to appreciate and encourage someone for their good work
Have you felt the need to share and show someone your care

Have you taken time to revisit the beautiful memories of your life and thank people for making you smile?
Have you shared a hearty laugh with your friend and cried your heart out when u felt left
Have you taken time to thank your family for their love and support and made efforts to make them proud

Have you taken the time to cook a special meal for your loved ones and feel the joy in their eyes
Have you felt the joy of singing aloud till your throat ached
Have you taken time to sway to the music in the arms of your loved ones
And play and jump with the little kids around.

Have you once wiped the tears and consoled a saddened soul
Have you felt the joy of sharing and the warmth of caring
Have you once forgiven wholeheartedly and made efforts to forget the hurt and pain
Have you felt the joy of doing what you like and taking time to rewind

Life is what you make it
The little joys of life are hidden in things you least expect
Live and love life always.
