Silent Cry - On Gender Inequality

Silent cry- On Gender inequality
I realized the significance of my position in your heart;
The word I consciously called you as, mom first.
Later, I realized my accountability toward my little brother.
Because of the responsibility you poured on my shoulder.
The food you used to feed my brother well...
I understand you used to eat leftovers as well.
When it came to my brother’s education, my preference was secondary;
Later... I understood that biologically he was superior in society.
Because you wanted to complete your responsibilities;
You made hasty decision about my marriage without considering my capabilities.
I cried, but you forced me to obey your words.
I didn't have a thorough understanding of the law;
You advised me to remain silent in front of my mother-in-law.
I was completely miserable as a result of my infertility treatment;
You made me realize that bearing a child is not a necessity because life is infinite.
Even though we live in the electronic era, there is no bias in digital.
But why, Mom, life is biased towards me? .........

    The overall mindset of a society has a significant impact on gender inequality. How society determines the differences and value of men vs. women plays a starring role in every arena, whether it is education, employment, marriage, healthcare, pregnancy, domestic work.
