Happily Ever After

Happily Ever After
After the war, there is the sound of deep silence...
After the rain, the grass slowly lifts its head,
growing toward the sky, inch by inch.
You made me feel like one of those blades of grass,
rising again, reaching for the heavens with hope,
after the shattered storm.

How is it that my love has your face?
How is it that I have fallen so completely into you?
You are the strongest man I've ever known,
with the softest heart...
You are the one who would conquer the world for love.

You are the clarity in my life.
Oh, my sweetheart...
How could a stranger become the one who shapes my vision?
How could you bring such calm to my sorrows,
and ease the chaos inside me?

Not just in this time or this life,
I will devote myself to God,
praying to be blessed to live with you across many lifetimes,
through all versions of our souls.
I want you to be my man, forever.

Your gentle gaze...
your warmth...
your smile...
your presence...
When you look at me, your eyes hold the wildest medicine—
a remedy that consoles my soul.

I never knew I could love a man this much...
I never knew a man could love me this deeply...
I never knew love could be as vast as the ocean,
as strong as thunder echoing across the world.

Whose will brought us together?
Oh, my sweetheart...
This is the life,
this is the moment I want to feel forever.
You came with certainty,
with love that is unwavering,
an infinite peace of appreciation.
The colors of my life,
the worth of my prayers,
the answer to everything I deserved.

I am happily ever after...
And forever, I will pray for a life with you.
Oh, my sweetheart...
