The Golden Times

Take me back to the time,
When I was nine,
When the Mondays were never blue,
And every day felt like something new,
When the Prime importance was playing,
Which involved too much chasing,
When grandma's house was the vacation spot,
When the summer was too hot,
When we used to think of being an adult,
But now we wish that time could halt!!!

Very nice poem and Holy Scripture also says following in Matthew 18:3 Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition 3 And said: Amen I say to you, unless you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Let me introduce you to a great 1970's song "In the Morning" by Bee Gees. This song is on youtube.com and titled "In the Morning" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dy56zbpuK8&list=RD9dy56zbpuK8&start_radio=1 ) This song really, really reflects our childhood, wishes, aspirations....... World gets more and more beautiful as you grow old Shalomi,....... We are now, 76 and 70, empty nesters, and listen to this wonderful song most of our mornings as we sit in our car and drive out for our daily morning walk........ reminds us of our struggles in life since childhood, successes and achievements ...... As we call it, it is our second honeymoon (there was no honeymoon then, it was a daily struggle to succeed) ......... the pride of achieving our last laugh...... To be honest, life is really, really beautiful if one keeps their expectations and aspirations within limits.......and especially when, at our 70's when we view life from the far corner of the ceiling....... it looks so great and wonderful...... All the best
