A World Not Mine

A World Not Mine

To the souls who tiptoed into a world,

That never embraced their difference,

Each day a struggle to keep pace,

With time cruel and unkind.

Each day inching painfully forward,

To a venture never claimed as one’s own.

Eyes that beg to see the world differently;

A vibrant world far from the cast mould!

A longing deeply desired, but never bore roots.

A wishful smile and a thin ray of sunlit hope

To brighten a path never meant to be tread.

Shunned from the embrace for unmet expectations,

A look of worry for the life's battles not won,

Cold expectations draining life of its warmth.

The piercing the heart takes for the misery not sown-

It's a cruel fate that smiles in sarcastic tones.

To live and not live -an irony pronounced

To those who dwell in the shadows of light.

To live in the world paved with sunshine,

Yet lie awake in the dark night.

This felt very close to my own experience at times, the quiet struggle, the feeling of being out of place, but still holding onto that ‘thin ray of sunlit hope. 🥺 The emotions here are beautiful expressed!

Well written! And following on how to reach World Full of Light. For that first one needs to breathe not only air but also light everytime as per Biblical Divine Quote "I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD" and slowly shed one by one darknesses of this world like pride, anger, greed, lust, jealousy, gluttony, hatred, unforgiveness, attachments and addictions to be one with Divine Light. Following quoted and referenced a recent scientific news article (link) on Kingdom of Light and where it is located... "Is heaven real? Science may reveal where God’s eternal kingdom exists..."
