Udupi: Woman Robbed of Valuables Worth Rs 1.50 Lac in Train

Udupi, May 1: A woman train passenger who was on her way from Pune to Kundapur here has been robbed of valuables including gold ornaments worth Rs 1.50 lac recently.

Susheela Vijaya Devadiga basically belonging to Harkur was travelling from Pune to her native along with her two children.  When the Bhatkal station arrived, a group of youngsters (about 7-8) came forward to help Susheela in handling her luggage as Kundapur was the very next sto where she has to get down.
The men surrounded her suitcase for a while and as the Kundapur station was about to come, they left the bag there and went way.

To her surprise, when Susheela opened her bag, once out from the train she found the valuables were missing.  Suspecting that the youngsters were involved in the theft Susheela has lodged a compliant with Railway police.
