Mumbai: Durgambika Bhajana Mandali celebrates 49th annual Navaratri festival

Mumbai, Oct 8: Durgambika Bhajana Mandali established at Church Gate here in the leadership of hotelier Padmakar Gambhir celebrated 49th annual Navaratri festival with pomp and gaiety.

The Bhajana mandali held poojas and rituals for nine days prior to the festival. The festival concluded on Vijayadashami day.

Jayarama B Shetty Inna, proprietor of Ajanta Caterers, honorary president of the Bhajana Mandali, president Harish S Khendekar, vice president Navin K Shetty, honorary chief secretary Suresh Shetty, secretary Raju Poojary, treasurer Somashekar Bangera, joint secretaries Chandra Mogaveera, Yogesh Putran, Yogesh Bangera, joint treasurer Manu Patel, chief advisor Vittal Sherigar Katpadi, devotees and others took part in the celebrations.

Honorary president Jayarama Shetty Inna said that the mandali is preparing for the golden jubilee celebrations next year.
