Mumbai: Ganiga Samaja holds Satyanarayana pooja, distributes scholarships

Mumbai, Oct 10: Ganga Samaja held Satyanarayana Pooja and distributed scholarships to students at Pejavar math, Santacruz east on October 9. President of the samaja, B V Rao presided over the programme.

Pejavar math priest Vidwan Hari Bhat Puthige performed the pooja. Vijayendra Ganiga and Vinaya V Ganiga were in charge of the rituals.

Honorary president Kutpadi Ramachandra M Ganiga, vice president Vijayendra Ganiga and Bhasker M Ganiga, honorary secretary Chandrashekar R Ganiga, ladies wing president Tara N Bhatkal, youth wing president Ganesh R Kutpadi and auditor Sadananda Kallianpur distributed annual scholarships to the students in the community.

U Balachandra Katpadi, Laxminarayana Katpadi, joint secretary Jagadish Ganiga, Rajesh R Kutpadi, office manager Padmanabha N Ganiga, executive committee members, current and former office bearers and members were present.

Veena Dinesh Ganiga sang a prayer. Devendra Rao welcomed and compered the programme. B V Rao felicitated the guests. Chandrashekar R Ganiga rendered a vote of thanks.
