Mangalore, May 4: The sixth successive annual free mass marriage programme is being organized at Goddess Durgaparameshwari Temple in Mundkoor on Friday May 6. This programme is being sponsored by Guruprasad Charitable Trust, Mundkoor-Mulladka near Kinnigoli.
Raghu Shetty and Nalini Raghu Shetty Mundkoor have been sponsoring the said event since the last six years through the trust named above. 75 couples will tie nuptial knots at the mass marriage ceremony. Jayaram Acharya will spearhead the religious rituals.
On the same day, ‘Sri Srinivas Kalyana Mahotsava’ will be organized at Nana Patekar auditorium of the temple. This programme is also being sponsored by Raghu Shetty and Nalini Raghu Shetty, it is gathered.
