Mangaluru: New casualty block inaugurated at SCS Hospital

Mangaluru, Oct 25: SCS Hospital inaugurated its new casualty block which houses excellent amenities for patient care, with a blend of technology and human touch on Sunday October 23.

The chief guests for the day were senior and eminent physicians Dr I G Bhat, Dr C K Ballal and Dr Jayaprakash Alva. The new casualty block is a blending of Japanese technology with Indian hospitality and heart. All the medical equipment’s and devices are handpicked by the clinicians to cater to precision, safety, comfort & accuracy in patient care and the ultra-modern ER trolleys facilitate seamless transfer within the entire hospital and are designed to ensure patient comfort and safety.

SCS Hospital also celebrated its 35th anniversary on Sunday comprising 35 years of dedicated healthcare services with smiles and a human touch. The beautiful floral decorations, lighting and arches designed by the talented hospital staff members were a visual treat in the day and night. Prizes were distributed to the best performers and best performing departments and for the poster competitions held during ‘Rashtriya Poshan Maah’.

After the ceremonious lamp lighting and invocation, the chief guests appreciated the efforts of the hospital management team led by Dr Jeevaraj Sorake, CMD, SCS Hospital in constantly endearing itself to the patients and doctors through tireless healthcare services in order to give high quality care with warmth and affection to the patients while adhering to medical ethics unfailingly. The numerous social initiatives of the SCS Hospital including the distribution of scholarships to the needy students, free medical camps etc. were highly appreciated.
