Rouseau (Dominica), July 10 (IANS) Indian speedster Ishant Sharma says his team will be looking to polish off the West Indies tail within the morning session on day five of the third Test to give themselves an easy target in the fourth innings.

The West Indies were 224 for six in their second innings, leading by a mere 81 runs at close of play.

Ishant, the leading wicket-taker in the three-match series with 22 wickets at a stupendous average of 15.13, feels the track at the Windsor Park here is not easy for batsman and they will look chase a minimum target on a "difficult wicket".

"It is not easy to play bouncers on this track. It is a slow surface and we need to be patient, the less they (West Indies) make the better for us," said Ishant.

Ishant reckoned that even Kirk Edwards, who struck a sublime 110 on debut, found it tough against the short-pitch stuff.

"He (Edwards) was top edging bouncers and luckily for him most of them landed safely. Having said that, he played well but he had luck on his side too."

The 22-year-old said they did well to keep the West Indies under run rate under control though Edwards and Shivanrine Chandepaul, who is batting at 73, were able to frustrate the opposition with a 161-run stand for the fourth wicket.

"I still feel we bowled very well and didn't allow them to score at a rate of more than 2-odd per over."
