Mangaluru, Jun 17: Panambur station police arrested two accused including a minor for robbing a man of his jewellery and a mobile phone.
The arrested are identified as Nihal Y Suvarna (19), resident of Bengre and a minor boy.
As per the complaint, Nihal and the victim of the robbery, are known to each other. The accused duo had called the victim near Baikampady railway tracks on June 16. They splashed chilli powder into the eyes of the victim and robbed the valuables.
Police personnel informed that the gold chain weighing 5.79 gram and the mobile phone have been recovered.
A case in this connection is registered at Panambur police station.
