Udupi: Pejawar Swamiji gets down into 40-ft deep well to rescue kitten

Udupi, Jun 19: Shree Vishwaprasanna Theertha Swamiji, seer of Pejawar Math in the city showed exemplary humane side of him as he rescued a kitten that fell into 40 feet deep well of the temple.

The kitten fell into the well at Muchlukodu Subramanya temple and was wailing loudly. The temple personnel brought this to the notice of the seer. Though they tried to bring up the kitten through rope and basket, the kitten was jumping out of it because of fear.

Pejawar Swamiji got down into the well himself with the help of a rope and brought the kitten up. His kind act is widely appreciated by the public and devotees.

Pejawar Swamiji is also in the forefront of rescuing cows, reptiles, eagles and all kinds of animals and birds.
