Bantwal, June 19: Fisheries minister Mankal Vaidya called on former minister Ramanath Rai at the latter's residence on Monday and had friendly discussions. Ramanath Rai welcomed the minister to his residence.

Congress party leader Pius L Rodrigues, block Congress president Baby Kunder, Sudeep Kumar Shetty, Chandraprakash Shetty, Padmashekar Jain, Suresh Zora, Sadashiva Bangera, Pravin Bantwal and others were present.
