Mangaluru, Jun 22: St Agnes PU College organized a highly impactful and comprehensive ‘Cyber Crime and Internet Safety’ session in collaboration with the cyber crime police station and CyberSapiens on June 19. The event witnessed an impressive participation of over 630+ students and staff, signifying the significance of the topic in today's digital age.

It then proceeded to delve deep into the intricate aspects of cyber crime, specifically emphasizing social engineering techniques like phishing, smishing, and vishing. The attendees gained invaluable insights into the strategies employed by hackers to acquire sensitive information through these malicious practices. Through live demonstrations, real-life scenarios were showcased, leaving a profound impact on the students and significantly enhancing their comprehension of the potential risks associated with cyber crime.
