Kundapur, June 23: “Our party needs to inform people about friendly programmes by the prime minister and our previous government in the state. Congress might have come to power by false propaganda and promises. We demand the Congress government to implement its guarantees. They should provide subsidies to private buses and provide free travel especially to women. BJP will hold a statewide campaign in support of it,” said MP B Y Raghavendra.

He was speaking in the joint meeting of senior BJP workers and various office-bearers of morcha at Hemmadi Jayashree hall on Friday.

“The Centre is providing 5 kg of rice. Congress will have to distribute another 10 kg rice. They had said that they will distribute a dole for all the students who have passed the degree and the diploma but they say now that they will pay only those who have passed during 2022-23. The payment of Rs 2,000 to women has not yet started. Congress, which came to power announcing guarantees before the elections is escaping by putting conditions,” he said.

MLA Gururaj Gantihole also spoke on the occasion.

Many senior party workers expressed lapses in the functioning of the party . Byndoor Mandala president Deepak Shetty, Priyadarshini Devadiga, Malathi Naik, Ananda Kharvi, Santhosh Poojary and others were present.
