Udupi: Owner survives miraculously after house wall collapses

Udupi, Jun 24: The wall of a house at Pragati Nagara near Alevoor collapsed due to the heavy rains that lashed the city on Friday June 23 evening.

Suma Ramesh Acharya, the owner of the house had just gone out to feed her cat when the wall collapsed.

She survived miraculously. The loss is estimated to run into lac of rupees.

Alevoor Harish Kini, Pushpa Anchan, Jalesh Shetty, Sundar Nayak Karval and others visited the spot and informed officials to take quick relief action.
