Udupi: Ventana foundation donates Rs 12 lacs for welfare of government school

Udupi, Jun 26: Shilpa Bhat, trustee of Ventana foundation, speaking in the press held in press club on June 26, said, “The Ventana foundation has spent Rs 12 lacs by donating necessary equipment and study material to government school’s in Udupi district.”

Rohith Bhat, chairman, Ventana Foundation said, “Private English schools have been attracting students with their superior facilities and infrastructure when compared to government-run kannada medium schools. Despite the tireless efforts of the teachers, students from Kannada medium schools may experience a sense of inferiority. It is our utmost commitment to ensure that no students from these schools feel disadvantaged due to the lack of facilities and infrastructure. Consequently, we have been actively supporting kannada medium schools through various initiatives over past 18 months. The recent contribution of notebooks, school bags and other essential stationary items represents another stride forward in pursuit of this objective”.

Supported schools under the initiative of Ventana foundation include, Kukkikatte aided higher primary school, Government high school, Indiranagar, Indiranagar aided higher primary school, Government lower primary school, Puttur, Shri Vidya Samudra Thirtha school, Government higher primary school, Kelarkalabettu, government pre University college, Kemmannu, government pre university college, Udupi, Government composite high school, Ajjarkad, government pre university college, Tenkanidiyur, Kakkunje hindu aided higher primary school and government pre university college, Malpe.

Ventana foundation is a non-profit organization founded in the year 2022 by Rohit Bhat, founder of Robosoft Technologies and 99Games. The foundation believes in devoting their efforts to nature, culture and the future of regions in and around Udupi district by offering financial aid and support. Their focus areas are environment preservation, cultural revival, education and community service. They wants to encure that as the digital world opens doors to the future, they remain the window to ensure the past doesn’t get forgotten. Ravindra K, trustee of Ventana Foundation was present.
