Mangaluru: Shiva's SIIPI to start diploma courses in designing, treating hair

Mangaluru, Jun 26: Shiva's International Institute of Professional Innovations (SIIPI) will be starting a six months long certificate programme in hair and beauty therapy course and a year-long diploma programme in designing and treating hair in Mangaluru. Shivas college president Dr Shivarama K Bhandary, speaking in the news conference called in Patrika Bhavan, Mangaluru on June 21 said that the courses recognised by Mangaluru university will be started at Plama Nest building, Deralakatte, Mangaluru in August, 2023. “Students who have passed PUC are eligible to join the courses,” he said.

“Shivas organization started in Mumbai 1988 has opened Stylo Hair Parlour in 1993, Shivas Stylo in 2001 and Shivas Academy in 2009, Shivas Hair designer private limited in 2007 and Shivas Salute in 2022. It has received international recognitions. 98% of its students have obtained the jobs of their choice and have become financially independent,” he said. The organization runs two academies in Mumbai. One of them is at Andheri and the other is at Dombivli.
