Mangaluru: JJTU confers PhD in Child Health Nursing to Sharlet Simple D'Souza from NUINS

Mangaluru, Jun 27: Shri Jagdish Prasad Jhabarmal Tibrewala University (JJTU), located in Rajasthan, has recently awarded a PhD degree to Sharlet Simple D'Souza from Nitte Usha Institute of Health Sciences (NUINS).

Sharlet, currently employed at Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences in Paneer, Mangaluru, received the PhD in Child Health Nursing.

Her doctoral research focused on the impact of virtual teaching-learning programs on obesity and its consequences among adolescents in selected colleges in Mangaluru.

The research was conducted under the guidance of Dr Anupama Oka.
