Mangaluru, Jun 28: The 259th edition of Mandd Sobhann's monthly repertory program will be held at Kalangan, Shaktinagar on July 2 at 6:30 pm.
The Konkani drama titled 'Emmavs' will be performed by the Astitva drama troupe during the event.
The drama explores themes of violence, defeat, feelings of disappointment, tendencies towards suicide, and the desire to overcome such emotions. 'Emmavs' was awarded the first prize in the new drama writing competition.
The script for the drama has been written by Fr Dr Alwyn Serrao, and it has been directed by Christopher D'Souza. The cast includes Clanwin and Sweedal. The music for the drama has been composed by Anstin Machado, Christan, Yashaswin, Chinmayi, and Ketan Castelino.
The organizers have announced that entry to the drama, which is sponsored by Globe Link Westar Shipping Company, will be free of charge.
