Most awaited Maruti Suzuki Jimny launched at NEXA Udupi

Udupi, Jun 28: The highly anticipated Maruti Suzuki Jimny car was officially launched at the Maruti Suzuki NEXA showroom in Kadiyali on Wednesday, June 28. The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing blessings for the much-awaited Maruti Suzuki Jimny.

The esteemed lineup of guests included Sharath Shetty, CEO of Epicode and former MD of Telenetix, Raviraj N S, director of Corporate Relations, Planning and Monitoring at MAHE, Sachin Karkera, founder and admin of Udupi Offroaders, Subhash Kamath, MD, Sathwik Kamath, Akarsh Kamath, Anand Amin, and general manager of Abharan Motors. Together, they unveiled the all-new Maruti Suzuki Jimny.

This marks the fourth generation of the Maruti Suzuki Jimny and the first Jimny series vehicle in India to feature five doors. Equipped with a 1.5-liter K 15B petrol engine generating 104bhp power and 148 newton meters of torque, the 4x4 vehicle is available in seven different colors: kinetic yellow with a bluish black roof, bluish black, sizzling red with a bluish black roof, Nexa blue, sizzling red, granite gray, and pearl artic white. It boasts full-time four-wheel drive capability, making it suitable for both off-roading and daily commuting needs. Noteworthy features include a touch screen system, reverse camera, and headlight washer. The car is available in two variants: Zita and Alpha, with both manual and automatic transmission options.

To commemorate the occasion, a cake-cutting ceremony was organized, adding to the festive spirit of the launch.
