Mangaluru: Catholic Sabha undertakes house-to-house campaign in Shaktinagar

Mangaluru, Jul 18: A house-to-house campaign was undertaken by the Shaktinagar unit of the Catholic Sabha.

Catholic Sabha Mangaluru Region Central Committee president Alvin D’souza Paneer, who inaugurated this campaign at the residence of Clarence Sequeira in Shaktinagar, said that this is a unique event and such a programme is being held for the first time. He said that similar programmes should be done in every unit and sector. He congratulated the organisers for conducting the event. Shaktinagar Unit president Arun D’souza was felicitated on this occasion.

Parish priest of Shaktinagar Church, Fr Gerald D’Souza, Catholic Sabha former president Rolphie D’Costa, Francis Monteiro, Lavina D’Souza, City Zone president Wilfred Alvarez, zonal representative of Amcho Sandesh Ronald Rodrigues, Shaktinagar Church vice president Stany Mascarenhas, secretary Mary Pinto, ward gurkar Asha Monteiro and ex-serviceman Clarence Sequeira were present on the occasion.

President of the Shaktinagar unit, Arun D'Souza welcomed everyone, and secretary Tony Pinto proposed a vote of thanks. Prema Ferrao hosted the event.
