Bhatkal, Jul 31: The newly-elected Anjuman management and teaching staff of the Anjuman College held an interaction session at college premises here recently.

The main focus of discussion was on ‘How to Raise the Standard and Quality of Education in Anjuman Institutions.’

Speaking on the occasion principal of Anjuman Institute of Technology and Management Dr Noor Ahmed said, "Teachers play a very important in improving the quality of education. They should not restrict themselves only to teaching but take responsibility in shaping students' future also."

Dr Zameerullah Sharief said that he had introduced many reforms after taking over as  principal of Anjuman Degree College, which improved the results in the college.

Commenting on SSLC results headmaster of ABHS Shabbir Ahmed Dafedar said that the reason for the poor performance was the admission process and students' absenteeism.
 
Students are not properly assessed at the time of admission due to which academically dull students also get in and affect the overall performance of the school, he added.

In his presidential address Syed Khaleel requested all the teachers to do their best and raise the quality of education through sincere efforts.

Other speakers including Inanyatullah Shabandri, Ismail Damudi, Zafrullah Kokatnur, and Arshad Kadli also expressed their views and provided some useful tips for the improvement of education standard in Anjuman Institutions.

Anjuman general secretary Abdul Raheem Jukaku welcomed the gathering and Ismail Siddique delivered the vote of thanks.
