Moodbidri, Aug 1: “The Block Congress Committee will stage a protest here on Tuesday August 2 against the failure of the BJP-led state administration,” said MLA Abayachandra Jain.

Addressing media persons here on Sunday July 31, Jain said that there have been irregularities in issuing ration cards and LPG connections, and distribution of housing sites to poor.

“It is under the BJP-led state administration that the officers and people’s representatives have forgotten that they are servants in solving various grievances of people,” he added. “People involved in petty crimes are imprisoned while the looters of state resources are protected by the state authorities,” alleged Jain.

He welcomed the move to elect MP Sadanand Gowda as future chief minister since he is from Dakshina Kannada (DK) district and the people of the undivided district will gain immensely.
