Kasargod, Aug 3: The Kerala border unit of Kannada Sahitya Parishat felicitated Thomas D’Souza, former president, Puttige gram panchayat, and vice-president of Kasargod Christian Association, for his outstanding contribution in the field of social work and Kannada literature, during the Kannada Sahitya Sammelan held at S N High School, Perla, near here, recently.
D’Souza also received the ‘Nirmal Gram Puraskar’ from President Pratibha Patil, recently. He also received the ‘Danti Memorial Award’ a few months ago for his book ‘Deevige’.
