Karkala: Dr M V Shetty Institute of Technology Organizes Essay Competition

Karkala, Aug 3: Dr M V Shetty Institute of Technology organized an essay writing competition for PUC students here at Thodar, Moodbidri on Tuesday August 2.

The essay competition in Kannada and English was held on the subject 'Role of Youth in Protecting Environment'.

Trustee Dr Divanjali Shetty inaugurated the programme by watering a plant. Principal Dr Sandeep Nayak requested students to plant and protect trees.

Coordinator Prof Haroon explained the significance of the programme.

Participation certificates were distributed to students. Winners of the competition will be awarded with cash prize by Dr Ramgopal Shetty on August 15.

Prof Nagaraj P welcomed and Vinod Kumar proposed the vote of thanks.
