Beltangady, Aug 6: M Timmappa Gowda, teacher, Sri Manjunatha Swamy Aided Higher Primary School, Dharmasthala, who will be retiring soon after putting in 35 years of service, was felicitated by the school correspondent Anantapadmanabha Bhat here on Friday August 5.
Geetha A S, head teacher of the school, presided over the programme and wished peace and happiness to Gowda after retirement.
Teachers D Vasant Bhat, Manorama, D Krishnappa Poojary, and Koosappa Gowda, as well as students expressed their gratitude to the veteran teacher.
Gowda acknowledged the support of Dr D Veerendra Heggade and family during his service.
