Bantwal: Union minister Bhagawant Khooba inaugurates Bio CNG unit

Bantwal, Aug 25:  Union minister Bhagawanth Khooba inaugurated a Bio CNG unit that produces gas from trash constructed at a cost of Rs 3 crore at Oddoor farm, Ganjimath, Ulipadiguthu of MLA Rajesh Naik on Friday evening.

He said that the changes in climate, food security and scarcity of energy are challenging. Farmers and young people should think about generating green energy, he said.

MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said that the problems of trash in Bantwal will be solved with this unit coming up.

MLA Ramanath Kotian, Yashpal Suvarna, DCC bank president Dr M N Rajendra Kumar, Bio CNG nodal officer Kumar Gowda, DC Mullai Mugilan and local BJP leaders were present.

MLA Rajesh Naik welcomed. Oddoor energy unit managing partner Unnath R Naik proposed a vote of thanks. Former Buda president B Davadas Shetty compered the programme.
