Bengaluru, Sep 5: Indian Bunts Chamber of Commerce and Industries (IBCCI) delegation consisting president K C Shetty (Kuthpady Chandra Shetty), general secretary Srinath Shetty, Romal Shetty (CEO Deloitte), Rajesh Shetty (CMD Shanker Electricals), Upendra Shetty, (CMD Universal Educations Institution Group), Ashwin Hegde (CMD -Vishal Glazers Pvt Ltd), Bagjun Shetty (MD, Lumens Aircon Pvt Ltd) met deputy chief minister (DyCM) of Karnataka D K Shivakumar and Mithun Rai, Congress leader to discuss ease of business in Karnataka and promoting tourism in undivided South Canara district.

The DyCM gave a patient hearing to the delegates and requested for a white paper on actions to be taken in promoting ease of business and promoting tourism in the undivided South Canara district.

The DCM showed the keenness to work closely with IBCCI to promote the cause of business and trade in Karnataka, thereby generating greater employment opportunities in state of Karnataka.
