Udupi, Sep 6: Team Nation First in association with Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) and Academy of General Education Manipal is organizing twenty days "Agnisetu - 2023" training programme for the aspirants willing to join Indian defence forces.
Speaking about the session Raghupati Bhat, advisor team Nation First said, "Team nation first is a voluntary organisation of former NCC cadets with a primary motive of training and preparing the youth of Udupi for taking up a career in the Indian armed forces. The 20-day training camp for an army rally aspirants who cannot afford an expensive training centre. This will provide free training for the aspirants along with food and accommodation. As many as 125 candidates will be undertaken for training. The session will begin from September 10."
Dr H S Ballal, pro chancellor MAHE addressing the media said, "MAHE has always supported the noble activities. MAHE along with the academy of general education Manipal will be sponsoring the food for all the training attendees for all the days. The team has already received more than 500 enquiries and will select 125 candidates. These types of training sessions will create more job opportunities for the youths of our surroundings. MAHE will support such causes".
Nasha Mukth Daud, a run through Udupi promoting the anti-drug campaign will mark the closing of the training session on September 29.
Sooraj Kediyoor, president team Nation First, Sathwik Gadiyar, secretary, and Dr Vinod Nayak, sports secretary MAHE were present.
