Kerala origin officers in Mangaluru Customs, Central GST Commissionerate celebrate Onam

Mangaluru, Sep 13: Officers hailing from Kerala and working in Mangaluru Customs and Mangaluru Central GST Commissionerate, celebrated Onam festival at the Netravathi Hall in New Customs House here on September 9 with much fanfare and enthusiasm.

The principal commissioner of Customs & CGST, senior officers and retired officers of the department were present during the occasion.

During the celebration, a Pookkalam (floral rangoli) was arranged and a traditional Onam Sadya (a vegetarian meals with varieties of dishes served on a plantain leaf) was hosted also by them.

Performance of Shinkari Melam by a professional women’s team from Kerala added colour to the celebration.
