Sullia: Theft accused arrested by police

Sullia, Sep 18: Subramani (26), native of Gondi of Basavanahalli village of Somwarpet taluk of Kodagu district, who is accused in a theft case, was apprehended by Sullia police. He is sent to judicial custody by the court.

A case was registered against Subramani with regards to a motorcycle theft. On September 16, Subramani was caught at Saralipanja of Aletty village while the vehicles were being checked by Sullia SI Eeraiah and personnel.

Accused Subramani has several cases filed against him in Napoklu and Hunsur city police stations. During interrogation it has come to light that the accused had robbed a chain from an elderly person whom he met in Sullia market area.
