We show off in front of developed nations by spending 4000 crores just for a two days’ G20 summit. Internally the citizens are suffering from poverty, unemployment, bad roads, poor health care and corruption. This is absolute nonsense!

Just learn a lesson or two from the Gulf Countries (e.g Dubai). I was witness to their traffic development - each driver is given theoretical, practical and general lessons on Safety (Safety First) on road in which life is the most important factor. We never see this in India. Even the Inspector who takes driving tests does not care about the rules and approves a driver to drive. The awareness is a paramount need of the hour. Make our learning process firm. Suspend the licence for a year if the driver makes even minor offences. We need to instill this value in our youngsters so that we could look to an advanced, safe and lifesaving behaviour all around.

That is because India does not have a International Traffic Infrastructure. Rules & licencing system, there they created it right from the start during formation, here this should have been done long long ago but still relying on decades old motor act rule which is completely non existence in any part of the world, now they trying implement but it may take another 50 years or more.

Just check out our ratings in the world road safety rankings, worse than third world locations; no words to describe! BTW; this particular place has become the hotspot and jinxed place for fatal accidents though no one can go at high speeds due to traffic density!!
