Mumbai: Billavara Seva Sanstha, Nasik celebrates Narayana Guru Jayanti

Mumbai, Sep 29: Billavara Seva Sanstha, Nasik celebrated 169th Brahmashree Narayana Guru Jayanti and Annual Day at Narayana Guru Auditorium, G P Farms, Girnare, Nasik on September 24.

The religious rituals were conducted under the leadership of Jayarama Poojary. Durga Parameshwari Bhajana Mandali sang bhajans. Ladies wing committee conducted Haladi Kumkuma.

The annual meeting was presided over by president of the sangha, Gangadhar K Ameen. Secretary Damodar Poojary tabled the annual report and gave details of the projects of the sangha. Treasurer Balachandra Kotian tabled accounts for the year 2022-23 and obtained approval.

SSC, HSC and degree toppers were distributed scholarships. Various members took part with their families in singing, designed costumes and dances. Children who took part in the cultural programme were presented prizes.

A blood donation camp was conducted under the co-participation of Jana Kalyana Rakthanidhi. Nearly twenty members voluntarily donated blood. Damodar Poojary thanked the executive committee office bearers, cultural committee members, ladies wing and youth wing, blood donors and members who worked for the success of the programme.
