Mumbai, Oct 2: Bunts Sangha Kurla – Bhadup regional committee held their annual get together presided over by its president Chandrahasa K Shetty at Bantara Bhavan, Chunabhatti, Kurla east on September 29.

Bunts sangha higher education committee secretary CA Vishwanath Shetty was the chief guest. Higher education committee vice president Adarsh B Shetty and Matrabhoomi cooperative credit society limited secretary Pravin Bhoja Shetty who were present as guests of honour felicitated and congratulated Sunita M Shetty and Narayana Shetty Nandalike for literature, Swaroop Hegde, Kannada Bhavan education society high school and junior college principal Amrita Ajay Shetty for education and Kannada film star Prateek Shetty.



Bunts Sangha vice president Rathnaker Shetty Mundkoor, honorary chief secretary Dr R K Shetty, honorary treasurer CA Harish D Shetty, joint secretary Diwaker Shetty Indrali, joint treasurer Mundappa S Payyade, ladies wing president Uma Krishna Shetty, central regional coordination committee president Gunapal R Shetty Aikala, KBR committee president Harish A Shetty, vice president Girish R Shetty,
secretary Santhosh Shetty, treasurer Bharath Shetty, joint secretary Bharath V Shetty, joint treasurer Seetarama Shetty, ladies wing president Sangeetha C Shetty, youth wing president Vikas Rai and other
office bearers were present.

The guests presented and honoured Khelo India participant Akshay Shetty, mixed martial art international participant Roshan Sanjiva Shetty and mixed martial art national participant Prathamesh J Shetty with the KBR best talent award in memory of late Sumalatha Shetty Kanjurmarg. KBR membership committee president Shanta N Shetty Nandalike, marriage committee president Krishna Shetty and sports committee president Vani Shetty were presented KBR awards in memory of late Sujatha Alva Kanjurmarg.

Mister Bunts and Miss Bunts winners Swastik Shetty, Prathamesh Shetty, Yuvika competition winner Tanishka Shetty, competition winning KBR drama team and KBR president Harish A Shetty and Reshma Harish were specially felicitated.

Education aid was provided through the ‘Baravuda Ther’ programme for students in the community and economically weak students were adopted. Saroja Shetty explained the programme and read the list of
beneficiaries.

Regional committee members, children, youth wing and ladies wing members performed variety dances under the co-sponsorship of Dr R K Shetty of Essar Financial Services Private Limited. Members performed ‘Tulunadtha Katta Kattale’ cultural programme written and directed by well known author, dramatist Nandalike Narayana Shetty under the cooperation of Navin Shetty Inna Balike.

Chetana Shetty Ganapati said a prayer. Vanita Shetty sang a prayer. The programme began after Bantara Geethe. Harish A Shetty welcomed, gave an introduction and honoured the guests. Akshay Taranath Shetty and Kavya Vittal Shetty compered the programme. Girish R Shetty proposed a vote of thanks. Santhosh Shetty, Sangeeta C Shetty, Vikas Rai explained the services of the committee. Veena Shetty, Sarojini S Shetty and Bhoomika Shetty introduced the felicities.
